Escrow is not a promise written in a contract — it is how the platform works. Every milestone is funded into escrow before work begins, and the money is released only when you accept the deliverable. Buyers never pay into the void; vetted consultants and firms never chase an invoice.

IndexScore® governance
The IndexScore® is computed from evidence — completed work, accepted milestones and verified history — on a 200-to-800 scale. It is objective and portable, and it cannot be purchased or inflated by marketing.

Marcus mediates first
When a concern is raised, the neutral AI agent Marcus mediates before any formal dispute — proposing a resolution both sides vote on. Escalation to a formal dispute is the exception, not the default.

Funds locked during a concern
The moment a concern is raised the relevant escrow locks, so no money moves while the question is open — neither party can be short-changed by timing.
